Our military families essay contest

People to People Ambassador Programs was founded on the inspiring mission of Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of the United States and one of the greatest military minds in the country's history. A general during World War II, Eisenhower helped lead the nation to victory and was a firsthand witness to the destruction that results from a lack of peace and global understanding. In honor of the man that inspired the People to People mission, we are presenting scholarships to Student Ambassadors from military families. Applicants must submit an essay (2,500 words maximum) addressing the following questions:

  • How has living in a military family shaped who you are?
  • How has the US military positively impacted the world, and how is it doing so today?
